Geocache Description:

ATTENTION CACHERS: AS OF DECEMBER 2023

WE HAVE PERFORMED OUR LAST MAINTENANCE RUN ON THIS SERIES

Over the past 7 years the constantly changing topography along this river has dictated that as each of these hides goes missing we will be archiving them.

For PIC 1 - 6 The Mystery Final hide description will be edited to include the the missing codes as they are archived in order to keep it "findable" for as long as possible.

For PIC 7 - 9 The terrain ratings had to be changed due to flood damage to the original trail system.

As usual, the listed coordinates are useless.

Teamwork: cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons/partners acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause.

There is nothing more invigorating than working with a partner to achieve a common goal. The two heads leaning in, the combination of perspectives, the proverbial blood, sweat and tears all leading up to the elusive "Aha!!!" moment...can't beat that with a stick.

My caching partner and I have been having so much fun working as a team that we decided "famous partners" would make a good theme for a puzzle series. You're welcome!

Wile E. Coyote is at it again, but he's had a REALLY tough week. He tried to catch the Road Runner five days in a row, with five different tools (purchased from ACME of course, with five different prices) but failed each time, each in a different way!

Using the clues below, determine what happened on each day of the week and then answer the questions to solve the puzzle.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Tools: trapeze, TNT, jetpack, catapult, tornado seeds
Tool costs: $10, $20, $30, $40, $50
Outcome for Wile E. Coyote: crushed by rock, fell off cliff, struck by lightning, hit by train, sent over waterfall

The day the falling rock landed on him, he used the $50 tool.
The trapeze cost $20, and that day he did not fall over the cliff.
The day he used the tornado seeds, he was struck by lightning.
The $50 tool was not used on Tuesday.
The $40 tool was used on Friday.
He fell over the cliff on Thursday, but did not use the $30 tool that day.
He used the catapult on Wednesday, but was not hit by the rock or sent over the waterfall that day.
TNT was not used on Monday.

You can find the container at N40 30.ABC, W74 43.XYZ, where

Monday = 4 Tuesday = 1 Wednesday = 7 Thursday = 2 Friday = 5

B: How much was the catapult?

C: What tool did he use the day he was hit by the rock?

X: On what day was he struck by lightning?
