This cache is located on a footpath linking Bromley Common to Locksbottom. In yesteryears the nearby land was not fenced in and children (including BigT) could play in the fields and woods which include seasonal ponds.
The cache could be collected as part of a circular walk including Richmal Crompton Fields and Crofton Woods (where we have placed a number of other caches), and walking through the Farnborough Park estate. You are looking for a bison (not the animal) suspended on a fence. If lucky, you may also see a sheep or two in a nearby field.
