"Stammtisch" is a word that comes from German, and literally translated, it means "a group's table". It refers to an informal meetup between a group of people just to have a casual chat.
Geocaching Stammtisches are a regular fixture in many German cities where the locals come together to meet visitors and talk about the events and adventures of the last month or so. A group of us were wondering if we could start this tradition in Singapore. Therefore, here's the first one so we can discuss how we can take this forward and make these meet-ups more enjoyable (and, perhaps, even educational) for all.
I've set the tentative details of the meet-up as follows:
Date and time: 6 May 2017 (Saturday) at 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Location: The Fullerton Waterboat Starbucks (should not be unfamiliar to the Geocaching regulars).
The details are subject to change if I receive any feedback. Changes will be made via Announcements on the listing, so do indicate interest if you plan to come. Hope to see you then!
