Welcome to beautiful Algonkian Park, situated along the Potomac River, and home to many outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, hiking golfing, camping, fishing, and of course geocaching. The park is rich in history, and we’ll use that history to help in decoding the coordinates to this 3-stage multicache. Remember to be very perceptive, and pay close attention for clues. You will need you geocache app, and possibly the Internet to nail down your clues.
This geocache has been placed in Algonkian Regional Park with the approval of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (NVRPA). Please be respectful of the park and the environment.
Your journey will take you to 3 different stops, each with their beautiful views, and intriguing clues to finding the golden stash. Fore!! Your drive goes way off course, and you must locate your ball (cache). Your search will take you on a little bit of a hike to another scenic area. Once there, there will be a cache with the clues for the final stage, stage 3. The clues will be inside the cache, so you must find stage 2 in order to find stage 3. Watch out for other golfers (muggles!!).
