Po Hickory Restoration & CITO Cache In Trash Out® Event

Po Hickory Nature Preserve is a 31 acre parcel administered by the Land Conservancy of Lake County, a 25 year old non-profit organization. LCLC currently owns 7 lagre parcels thoughout Lake County comprising approximately 80 acres. The organization also owns 32 smaller parcels. LCLC works with landowners to preserve land through various options such as land donation and conservation easement Please join us for one of our fun and memorable activities that benefit the local enviroment.

Time:  10:00 am until 2 pm

Tasks: Ecological Fire/Prescribed Burn Control Crew, Planting, Weeding, Brush Cutting and Brush Pile Burning, Roadside Cleanup Crew.

Wear durable clothes, bring work gloves, safety glasses, drinking water and snacks. Actual tasks performed will be contigent upon weather and available volunteers.
