Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 100th - yes the 100th , Hampshire Monthly Mid Week Cache Event.

The centenary event sees us return to an old favourite venue, The Half Moon, Sheet near Petersfield on Wednesday 10th May 2016

The Half Moon
32 London Road
Sheet
Petersfield
GU31 4BE

The first Hampshire Mid Week Cache Event was all the way back in January 2009 at The Cricketers Pub in Eastleigh hosted by miksomas. The cache listing for that inaugural event can be found here with some great photos of a select few of the Hampshire locals that have supported the events over the years.

We have the use of the function suite which can sit one hundred, but as you know come early to be sure of getting a seat; the meets at this venue are always popular and with this being the 100th there may be even more attendees than normal.

Hopefully by May spring might have properly arrived and we can overflow into the large garden.

There is both a bar and restaurant menu available

Food should be ordered on the night, if you can post Will Attend (and whether you will be eating) logs as soon as you decide to come that will enable us to tell the pub some idea of numbers.

As is now traditional there will be a raffle and the treasure chest will be available for swapping and discovering Geocoins and Travel Bugs.

There will be plenty of opportunity to exchange caching stories and prise hints out of fellow cachers about the local puzzles, so please do come along.

If you have not been to an event cache before, would like to experience something different, and have the chance to meet other cachers then please come along.

You can be assured of a warm welcome, officially we will be there from 6.30pm until 9pm. but there are always early birds and late finishers!
