Geocache Description:

It's time to give back a little for all the fun we have in the great outdoors. CITO is part of Geocaching, and gives us the opportunity to help clean up the environment that we enjoy so much.

Join us for a morning of sun, surf, and picking up trash.

8:30 am - We will meet at the Andy Bowie County Park on South Padre Island. The given coordinates is for the parking lot at the park.

We then register and fill out liability waver forms. Texas Adopt a Beach will supply trash bags and non-latex gloves.

9:00 am - Cleanup begins and continues until Noon. We will be assigned an area of beach to clean.

Be sure to bring plenty of water, a hat, sun screen, and mosquito repellent. Bring any snacks you may need. If you have a grabber and sturdier gloves, feel free to bring them. Open toe shoes are not recommended.
