Kenmount Terrace is the latest example of the massive Urban Sprawl our fine city has been experiencing over the last number of years. Sadly this will eventually mean the end of a lot of wonderful trail in the area.
While hiking the trails in search of our friend Cache the Bayman's Kenmount Hill Hike series, we wonder to ourselves after finding #5. Why did he stop here??
That's just won't do, waste a good trail with no cache on it?? so with cache in hand we hiked a little further to place what I hope will be the first of many more along this trail. After all it's a pole line so this isn't going to be taken over by the Urban Sprawl.
Cache is a large Pill bottle hidden just off the pole line, very winter friendly.
Depending on your approach this can be a short hike or a longer hike. If you grab the other's in the Kenmount Hill hike series first this will be a bonus at the end. If you start on this end then you should really continue on down the trail to get the fantastic series that the CtB crew has placed there. Either way you have a great afternoon or evening of hiking ahead of you.
