Geocache Description:

Decided to take my dog Jasper out on the rail trail.  Jasper does pretty good on or off the leash at staying by my side as I ride my mountain bike.  The trail is pretty flat. The rocks were a bit much for his paws so I had to carry him off and on for the trip back home.  I entered the Casper Rail Trail from the corner of Curtis St. and East Yellowstone Highway.  I do not recommend parking on East Yellowstone Highway as there is not much of a shoulder.

I stopped here for a rest and water break and I got to witness a small cattle round up. There was one person on a horse, about 4-5 dogs and a small herd of cattle. If anyone knows how far the Casper Rail Trail goes, please add it to the comments of your log entry.
