The cache is located on the path of the London Loop which runs through Crofton Woods. The area is a site of special scientific interest, so please respect it when you walk through and do the caches. On one side of you is Sparrow wood, on the other is Crofton Heath (for more information see the information boards at the entrances to the woods). Nearby is the East Kyd Brook. Together with the Kyd Brook these streams run into the Quaggy which itself is a tributary of the Ravensbourne which runs into the Thames.
The cache is the size of a film pot and is in a big tree.
Permission for cache placement obtained from Ian Wright, Biodiversity Advisor and Site Manager for Crofton Woods and from Natural England.
