Nortorious bank robber Al Gonac, a.k.a. "Big Al", while on the run
from the local authorities has hurriedly hid some loot from his
latest "job" as well as some personal possessions. Big Al says this
area reminds him of his home in Savannah.
Big Al appreciates you checking on his stash and makes the offer
for you to take something for your reward. However, he would
appreciate you leave something too. This is an offer you cannot
refuse. (No edibles please! No gum!)
The cache is a one gallon (new) paint can with red plastic flip
top lid. The size and contents limit what can be added. The can
itself has been painted to aid in concealment. It lies on the
ground, camouflaged, covered and should not visible.
Big Al would like to know who his friends are. Please enter your
visit in the logbook. If you like...snap a picture or two of
yourself / your group. Please place the camera back as you found
it. Note the picture number(s) in the logbook. If you snap the last
picture in the camera....please mention it in your posting.
Please return the cache to its covered, concealed & secure
condition where you found it. Do not post pictures of the cache
that will give away its hiding spot…or the cache hiding spot
without the cache… or pictures of the hint, with your logged
posting. Any logs or pictures that do will be deleted without
notice.
HUNTING SEASON ADVISORY: Hunting is allowed in certain areas of
the park during hunting season. To be in style and be safe, Big Al
recommends wearing hunter orange when wandering the wooded areas
during the hunting season.
ADDITIONAL INFO: While watching the freighters on the St
Clair River & Lake Huron, they may occasionally "toot" their
horn. Here's what the whistles mean: One whistle - Passing
Starboard (right), Two whistles - Passing Port (left), Five or more
short blasts - Danger, Three long & two short - Hello!, Incase
of fog or poor visibility - Three short whistles every
minute.
