Dundee Law, at 174m is the highest point in Dundee and one of the most iconic features of the Dundee landscape, offering stunning 360° views to Dundee, Fife, Angus and Perthshire. Recently it has undergone significant improvements to make it more accessible. With great consideration given to conservation and heritage, community involvement and sustainability, it makes for a welcoming, safe and secure environment.
Come along and enjoy the launch of the Law Heritage Trail and learn all about the history, heritage, wildlife and woodland management of the Law, by finding the new caches along the route whilst completing the new Wherigo which takes you round the trail .... and a wee bit more.
Dundee Law currently has a virtual, earthcache and multi-cache. There will be new caches published for the event, including a puzzle, traditional, letterbox and a Wherigo. (Apologies, but no CITO for a full house).
The event takes place from 12 noon til 3pm on the grassy area between the allotments and the Whalebone Arch (Starting point of the Wherigo). There will be plenty of time for the usual geochat and swapping of trackables etc. We look forward to seeing both new and well-kent faces.
The Law is a popular and busy spot with both locals and visitors to Dundee, particularly at the weekends. Please park considerately on local streets (Law Crescent or Kinghorne Road have ample room for parking). Disabled parking is available at the top of the Law and in the parking area by the Whalebone Arch. Thank you for your understanding.
