Alfie's Feet Traditional Cache

This cache was prompted by an item I saw recently in a pound shop which is enclosed with the cache; it brought to mind a children's book that was really popular in our house when the children were little. 'Alfie's Feet' is part of a series by British author and illustrator Shirley Hughes featuring Alfie and his little sister Annie Rose and the problems that beset all little people, whether it be sibling rivalry, meeting children outside the family or simply getting your shoes on the right feet. In our house it also gave rise one night to one of THOSE questions. 'Daddy, when I'm old will Alfie still be little?' Yup, Alfie should be 35 this year, but like Peter Pan, he never grew up- always four years old and never quite learning to tell his right foot from his left.
