
Rt Proština (Punta Christo) nalazi se na sjevernom ulazu u pulsku luku blizini mjesta Štinjan. Na njenom najvišem dijelu se nalazi velika austrougarska utvrda Fort Punta Christo. Na najisturenijem dijelu nalazi se svjetionik u obliku četverokutna kamena kula sa crvenim vrhom. Za avanturiste je na rtu viseći most i tobogan. Odavde se može vidjeti ulaz u pulsku luku i lukobran te otoci brijunskog arhipelaga.

Fort Punta Christo
Fort Punta Christo je obalna utvrda na istoimenom pulskom poluotoku koju je izgradila Austrija krajem 19. stoljeća radi zaštite glavne luke svoje ratne mornarice. Utvrda se nalazila u sektoru II Obalne regije Pula (njem. Küstenabschnitt Pola), a klasificirana je kao obalna oklopna utvrda (njem. Werk (Küstenfort) mit Panzer).
Fort Punta Christo na nadmorskoj visini od 45 m postavljena je na najistaknutije mjesto koje sa sjevera zatvara ulaz u pulski zaljev. U čuvanju "pulskih vrata" pomagali su joj lukobran i Fort Musil smješten na istoimenom poluotoku koji je s juga zatvarao pulski zaljev. Osim toga, Fort Punta Christo štitio je južni ulaz u Fažanski kanal.

Rt Proština (Punta Christo) is located at the northern entrance to the Pula harbor near Štinjan. There is the great Austro-Hungarian Fort Punta Christo on its highest point. At its end there is a lighthouse in the form of a square stone tower with a red top. For the adventurist there is a rope bridge and a home made water slide. From here you can see the entrance to Pula harbor, breakwater and the islands of the Brijuni archipelago.

Fort Punta Christo
Fort Punta Christo is a coastal fortress on the peninsula of the same name built by Austria at the end of the 19th century to protect the main port of its navy. The fort was located in Section II of the Coastal Region of Pula (Küstenabschnitt Pola), and was classified as a coastal armored fort (Werk (Küstenfort) mit Panzer).
Fort Punta Christo at an altitude of 45 m is located at the most prominent place that closes the entrance to the Bay of Pula from the north. In protection of the "Pula gates" it was aided by a breakwater and Fort Musil located on the peninsula of the same name, which closed the Pula Bay from the south.
