XXV APRILE - Festa della Liberazione... delle CACHE!!!!
[ITA] PORTA BREDA e il Centro Commerciale
In occasione del 25 Aprile, Festa Nazìonale in Italia della Liberazione
Da allora, dal primo 25 Aprile 1946, in tutte le città italiane – specialmente in quelle decorate al Valore Militare per la Guerra di Liberazione – vengono organizzate manifestazioni pubbliche in memoria dell'evento.
Sesto San Giovanni è una di queste città... e quindi celebriamo la festa con una semplice cache... che rimarrà sempre li... a ricordarci il prezzo della Libertà.
Parlando invece del vicino centro commerciale... è nato molti anni fa ed è ancora un importante punto di aggregazione con negozi, Ipermercato aperto da lunedi a domenica, negozi vari, cibo e musica e Cinema MultiSala.
Perchè un cache qui?
Bella domanda. Posso dirvi.. perchè no? E' una zona di periferia da valorizzare, ci sono altre cache vicino... e volevo solo averne una vicino per famiglie curiose o mariti che devono aspettare la moglie dal parrucchiere. E vi assicuro che io non disperezzo queste cache... fanno parte della vita (la questione "ma puoi" dovrebbe scatenarsi nella testa di qualche geocacher.. proprio adesso... tre.. due .. uno..)
Ma veramente devo venire fino a qui per un cache ?
No, per tua fortuna il Dottore non ti obbliga.. ma se prorpio non sopporti di vedere questo pallino sulla mappa del colore sbagliato... allora fattene una ragione. Anche tu hai un problema. Ed io sono la soluzione.

PORTA BREDA
La grande scultura di Michele Festa, artista milanese di fama internazionale, dal 2004 sorge all’entrata del parco archeologico Breda come un portale d’accesso alla città. Realizzata in acciaio corten, è un'opera maestosa, con richiami alle sculture megalitiche. È diventata un simbolo della rinascita di quest'area, dove si fondono l’identità storica e lo sviluppo attuale.
VILLA TORRETTA
Villa Torretta, conosciuta anche come Villa La Torretta o più semplicemente come La Torretta, è una villa del XVI secolo. Concepita dai costruttori come villa di delizia, durante i secoli ha avuto diversi proprietari appartenenti alle nobili famiglie del milanese. Venne acquistata agli inizi del Novecento dalla Breda, che la trasformò in alloggi per le famiglie degli operai. È rimasta abitata sino ai primi anni sessanta, ristrutturata dal 1997 al 2002 e attualmente è sede di un prestigioso albergo.
Del complesso fa parte l'Oratorio di Santa Margherita, sempre del XVI secolo, con affreschi attribuiti a Simone Barabino raffiguranti storie
bibliche.

On the occasion of April 25, a national holiday in Italy Liberation
Since then, the first April 25, 1946, in all Italian cities - especially those decorated for Military Valor for the War of Liberation - are organized public events in memory of the event.

BREDA DOOR
The large sculpture of Michele Festa, Milanese artist of international renown, from 2004 located at the entrance of the archaeological park Breda as an access portal to the city. TOWER VILLA
Villa Torretta, also known as Villa La Torretta or more simply as The Tower, is a sixteenth century villa. Conceived by the manufacturers as a delightful villa, over the centuries it has had several owners belonging to the noble families of Milan. It was purchased in the early twentieth century from Breda, who transformed it into housing for the families of the workers. It remained inhabited until the early sixties, renovated from 1997 to 2002 and currently is home to a prestigious hotel.
