Geocache Description:

A suiting tacklebox for a popular fishing spot. Trail is a bit of a deer-path but overall not too rough during dry times.

This cache is placed as a loving tribute to an avid outdoorsman, the cacher's father. This is a very poplar hunting, fishing & trapping location as well as the location of some old homesteads which makes for good metal detecting and even some fun mushrooming in the appropriate seasons. The walk can be a bit mucky and prickly at different points during the year, but the overall terrain isn't terribly challenging. For most of the hike you'll be in eyesight of the local waterway, it can actually be quite pretty in the right spots/during the right seasons. Enjoy the sights and sounds of it. It is a woodsy walk so be prepared to encounter normal wildlife/pests and dress appropriately for the weather including during hunting seasons. Once at GZ, you'll find the tackle box cache in a likely location, please put it back how you find it.
