ecrane: Alas, I went to check on this one today. Did I find it? No, I did not. Well, this area could use something new anyhow. This one had a short run. I like the idea behind this puzzle, so I may well put out a new one with the same theme and approach.

If you disagree, there's no need to protest the hobby people, to occupy their HQ, etc. It's easy to be a fan of this pastime, one that gets you out of a pure cyber-existence but still has the tech component. Yes, you can still tweet about your caching exploits. Because technology. The modern world has many worries--unemployment, identity theft and other crime, weapons of mass destruction. It's refreshing to leave behind those dumpster fires and go find a geocache.

So hop on the information superhighway and take up this wonderful e-sport! From rugged lovers of the outdoors to the most primped metrosexuals, folks can go online or download the app and get started. The different types of geocaches afford something fun for everyone. Put it to a vote, and you may find a hanging chad or two: some prefer traditionals, others like virtuals. If you're reading this, you may be someone who likes unknowns. In any case, the game can be enjoyed in red states, blue states, purple states. When you geocache, do be smart. Most everyone became more security conscious in the days following 9-11, so use common sense and don't look for geocaches in sensitive, protected, or high-security places.
