Geocache Description:

A set of 4 caches to celebrate the arrival of Hattie Rosa (sister to Frankie's Mothering Sunday/Frankie's First cache).

They follow the road through Bothenhampton but it is not a circuit and you will have to retrace your steps if walking. Parking could be a problem especially at the Redundant Old Church and I ask you to consider the villagers who live there.

Please bring your own pen. Cache is now attached to a branch. No need to untie..

With only the 13th Century chancel and 15th Century tower surviving from the medieval church the parishoners decided to build the New Church in the 1880's half a mile away. For some time the Old Church was used as a mortuary chapel but in 1971 it was formally declared as a Redundant Church.

It is mostly open during daylight hours if you wish to go inside.
