This cache is in the Abbey area of Waltham Abbey. A church has been here since the 7th century and the present building dates mainly from the early 12th century. King Harold is reputed to be buried behind the church.
The cache opposite the church and there is a 14th century gatehouse and bridge, so lots to see.
