Come help the Kent Parks Department clean up invasive weeds (Ivy, blackberries, etc) at Clark Lake Park in Kent and earn a CITO souvenir during CITO week and Earth Day, April 22, 2017 on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to Noon.
Any amount of time you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated.
- Parking is across the street from the posted coordinates at Martin Sortun Elementary School. ( Parking coordinates are provided below).
- Dress appropriately for the weather and blackberry bushes.
- Bring your own gloves, tools will be provided by the Parks Department. If you bring your own tools, make sure they are labeled with your name.
- Coffee and Cocoa will be provided.
There is limited space available, so please post your "Will Attend" as soon as possible. We will be contacting the Parks department on April 13 with a preliminary count.
