Le Centre Noomdo
Le 19 février 2017 eut lieu l’inauguration du Centre Noomdo en présence d’une délégation de l’association Le Soleil dans la Main composée du comité, de membres et de sympathisants. Les discours officiels, notamment du président de l’ONG, des ministres luxembourgeois de la Coopération et de l’Action humanitaire et burkinabé de la Femme, de la Solidarité nationale et de la Famille, ainsi que l’hommage en mémoire de Camille Arend et de Noémie Siebenaller, furent ponctués de chants, de poésie et de théâtre portés par les voix des enfants du centre.
On February 19, 2017, the Noomdo Center was inaugurated in the presence of a delegation of the NGO 'Le Soleil dans la Main' represented by the committee, members and sympathizers. Official speeches, including the president of the NGO, the Luxembourg minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action and Burkinabé minister of Women, National Solidarity and the Family, as well as the homage in memory of Camille Arend and Noémie Siebenaller were punctuated with songs, poetry and theater carried by the voices of children from the center.
À cette occasion était organisé un voyage à la découverte des populations et des personnes travaillant sur le terrain. Au lendemain de l’inauguration, les invités ont pu visiter les écoles où sont scolarisés les enfants du centre, le marché de Koudougou ou bien passer la journée sur le site. L’excursion dans la Province du Bam constitua une deuxième étape du séjour. Après une nuitée à Bogonam, où les voyageurs furent hébergés par les habitants, la délégation put découvrir le village ainsi que le lancement de la construction du barrage de Sam. À Ouazelé, l’accueil festif en présence des autorités locales inaugura une journée au village. Le voyage d’une semaine se clôtura à Ouagadougou par la visite de l’orphelinat d’AMPO et de l’école de formation agricole Tondtenga.
On this occasion the NGO organized a trip to get to know the populations and the people working on the field. The day after the inauguration, the guests were able to visit the schools the children of the center are attending, the Koudougou market or spend the day on the site. The excursion to the Province of Bam was a second stage of the stay. After an overnight stay in Bogonam, where the guests were accommodated by the inhabitants, the delegation was able to discover the village and the construction of the Sam dam. In Ouazelé, the festive reception in the presence of the local authorities inaugurated a day in the village . The one-week trip ended in Ouagadougou with a visit to the AMPO orphanage and the Tondtenga agricultural training school.
