Geocache Description:

The Arroy Seco changed course in the Sixties during a particularly wet season. Not only were several bridges destroyed, but a couple picnic areas suddenly became orphaned. This is one of the two areas. It is a gentle hike mostly level. Wear water proof shoes for the stream crossings. DO NOT LOOK FOR THIS CACHE DURING THE RAIN. Flash floods are common in the Arroyo.

The container is a green metal ammo can about 5" by 7" by 10". There are numerous reports that GPS readings are difficult around the cache. Be aware that Rattlesnakes are often found in the Arroyo. Make lots of noise while walking in tall grass. The original contents of the cache are:

I also included a First Aide and Mending Kit in the cache. This is an experiment to see if anyone cares. Please leave the kit in the cache, but let me know if it needs restocking with anything.
