Geocache Description:

The ninth installment of the On Top Of series brings us to Mount Snowdon, the highest point in Wales. The summit is marked by a trig point and stands 1085m/3560ft above sea level. Snowdon is classifies as a Marilyn, Hump, Simm, Furth, Hewitt, Nuttall, Buxton & Lewis and a Bridge. The hill also features in the Trail100 list.

The event will run from 12 noon - 12:30pm on Saturday 24th June.

There are 6 official routes up Snowdon ranging from 5-7Km and 500-100m of ascent. Depending on your route the walk will be demanding and the weather can change rapidly so come prepared for a day on the mountain. You are responsible for your own safety!

The event is being held slightly below the summit as the summit gets very busy in summer.
