The cache is near where the toll gate for the Private Toll Road along The Duver was located. Nothing left of it now, except the post for the barrier at the east end still stands. The tolls ceased in 1997, when the Council took over from Seaview Duver Toll Road Company.
Sea wall defenses dominate here, but some attempt at landscaping has been made. Car parking is free after 6pm. Worth visiting the nearby Nature Reserve on part of the reclaimed Duver.
