Geocache Description:

A short off-set multi.  You are looking for a bison tube.  Please bring your own pen.

Formed in 1929 as the Cam, Dursley and Wotton New Life Church, the congregation joined the "One Church" group which is based in Gloucester with congregations in Bristol, Podsmead and Kingsway. The group is an Assemblies of God (AOG) Pentecostal Church. The Assemblies of God has its roots in the Pentecostal revival of the early 20th century. By 1914 the movement had become widespread and the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the United States of America was formed. In the UK, Nelson Parr, the pastor of a congregation in Manchester, called a meeting of fourteen people in Aston, Birmingham in February 1924, in which they decided to form the Assemblies of God in the UK with their 26 congregations. Another 48 congregations joined at a second meeting in May of the same year. Since then the movement has grown and there are almost 600 churches in the AOG in Great Britain. Worldwide, the AOG is the fourth largest international Christian group of denominations and the largest Pentecostal denomination in the world.
