Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Towerhouse Woods mini-series hidden in April 2017 to coincide with the Towerhouse Woods Easter Hunt event. There are now 6 different cache icons that can be collected in this woodland.

The Ty Sculpture Trail consists of 15 stone and one wooden sculptures of animals that would be found in this woodland. It is named after Ty Partridge, an artist who lived next to the woods and passed away in his twenties. He had always expressed an idea to create a sculpture trail and so this was created as a dedication to him. More information about the trail can be found on the related webpage.

This Wherigo takes you on a simple circular tour around most of the sculptures. It can be downloaded here. At each location, the cartridge will ask you to name the animal depicted in the sculpture; a correct answer unlocks the next stage.

You will need a sheet of the sculpture names in order to get some of the questions right- only the exact name of the animal as described on the sheet will be accepted by the cartridge. You can find these sheets stored next to the information sign at the start of the trail (listed coordinates), which are frequently replenished. Alternatively, you could print the one that I have uploaded onto this cache page.


The final cache is a small round pot, a short distance away. Make sure to re-hide well.
The 'W' code required for the bonus is in this cache. Don't forget to collect it!
