Geocache Description:

Parking has become more difficult of late, with the start of paid parking. Free parking is available behind the football stadium, otherwise use a paid parking lot which will require use of a credit (not debit) card to enter/exit the parking lot. There are now four stops on this virtual cache.

This virtual cache consists of four stops. Except for those who frequent this location, stops 1 and 3 would probably go completely unseen.

Stop #1 - 29 43.222N / 95 23.986W Here you may see locals dozing on and among the three prominent geological features. All three may be climbed on. The top of the flat structure may be reached via the South West corner. Look for a sidewalk plaque with the name of the structures.

Stop #2 - 29 43.114N / 95 23.939W A monument to a once penniless gentleman, who was murdered by the butler (really!) in cahoots with a crooked lawyer (no kidding!) who produced a phony will (could I make this up?). The dastardly deed was uncovered by Captain James Baker (who wasn't actually a Captain, but who was the grandfather of former Secretary of State James Baker). The bad guys went to jail, the proper will was restored, and the place where owls fly was created.

Stop #3 - 29 43.024N / 95 24.178W Take your shoes off here. Caution - the structure is very slippery so climbing on it is not a good idea.

Stop #4 - 29 42.987N / 95 24.138W A small piece of a significant barrier. See both sides of freedom and oppression.

To verify your find email me with answers to the following questions: 1. What is the name of the three geological structures at location #1 2. Who is sitting at location #2. 3. At location #3 - what is any ONE of the mottos above the doors on the building to the south. 4. What is the monument at location #4?
