Geocache Description:

A small series which takes in a lovely walk around a local beauty spot. Listerdale woods has long been a favourite of adults and children for many generations.

This first micro is in the old pigsties just down the hill from the entrance on The Brow. I only found out about the existance of these from the old lady who we are buying a house from. When her daughters used to play in the woods as children they were told..... "Don't go any further than the pigsties" 

I honour of moving a lot closer to these wonderful woods it seems fitting that this is the first stop on our little ramble.
