2017 Metro Parks GeoTrail - Clear Creek (A) Traditional Cache

Park in the Creekside Meadows Parking Lot at Clear Creek Metro Park. Enjoy a short walk along the creek to find this cache Hidden in Plain Sight. Bring your own pen to sign the log. While this trail is pet friendly, the other cache at Clear Creek is not pet friendly so plan accordingly. This trail may also be muddy since it is near the creek.  Be sure to check out the other 19 caches that are a part of this year’s Metro Parks GeoTrail!

Educational Cache Info:

Nighttime is a great time to look for eye shine.  The reflection is seen when light bounces off the inside of an eye (as you’ve probably seen in some photos). Even teeny tiny eyes, like those of spiders, can produce eye shine.  Try using a flashlight to look for eyes at night!

To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. You will need all 20 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle Cache.Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on October 13th.
