2017 Metro Parks GeoTrail - Clear Creek (B) Traditional Cache

Park in the Creekside Meadows Parking Lot at Clear Creek Metro Park and hike the Cemetery Ridge Trail. This steep, winding trail takes you through the forest to the top of the ridgeline. Look for this cache Hidden in Plain Sight while enjoying a view of the valley. Not dog friendly. Be sure to check out the other 19 caches that are a part of this year’s Metro Parks GeoTrail!

Educational Cache Info:

People have been using the stars to navigate for thousands of years. Here in southern Ohio, it would be hard to see stars through all the trees!  This open view of the valley would be the type of place to look for stars at night. Even the Milky Way is visible this far from light pollution.

To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin.
