Gazing up at the night sky is a great year round activity that can yield different results depending on where you do it. As city lights cause light pollution which dims out all but the brightest stars, you have a better chance of star gazing at a location somewhat removed from the city. Be sure to check out the astronomy programs at Glacier Ridge Metro Park for a great chance to view the night sky.
To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net/geotrail-2017 to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. The first 100 teams to return their forms are eligible to receive a Metro Parks Geocoin. You will need all 20 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle Cache.Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on October 13th.
