Aurorapolku alkaa Saariselän välittömästä läheisyydestä. Pääosa polusta kulkee Urho Kekkosen kansallispuistossa. Liikkuessasi kansallispuistossa, muista liikkumista koskevat säännöt ja kunnioita luontoa. Aurorapolku Trail starts beside the centrum of Saariselkä. The main part of the trail is locating inside the Urho Kekkonen National Park. Please, remember the hiking rules of National Park and have respect the nature.
Aurorapolku on 2,1 km pitkä luontopolku, mikä alkaa aivan Saariselän keskustan välittömästä läheisyydestä Luttojoen varrelta. Reitillä on korkeuseroa 35 m. Reitiltä voi ihmetellä yötöntä yötä kesäisin ja revontulia talvisin reitin korkeimpaan kohtaan rakennetulta näköalatasanteelta. Sinne on myös sijoitettu taukotupa, huoltorakennukset ja tulentekopaikka. Tämä kätkö ei sijaitse kansallispuistossa, mutta pääosa reitistä kulkee siellä, joten muista kansallispuistoalueella olevat säännöt. Ja kunnioita luontoa. Aurorapolku Trail is 2,1 km long nature trail having altitude difference 35 m. The trail starts just beside the centrum of Saariselkä. The main part of the trail goes inside the Narional Park even though this cache is locating outside the Park. On the highest level of Aurorapolku Trail there are a wilderness hut, a campfire site, firewood shed as well as dry toilet for hikers. You can observate there during the summer the midnight sun and in the winter the northern lights. Please, remember the National Park hiking rules and respect the nature.
