Geocache Description:

Many nocturnal animals have a great sense of smell, but how does yours rank? Try to sniff out the answers and unlock this puzzle cache in Scioto Audubon Metro Park. You can even bring your furry four-legged friend to check out the nearby dog park, and who knows… maybe they’ll help you solve this cache! Be sure to check out the other 19 caches that are a part of this year’s Metro Parks GeoTrail!

Educational Cache Info:

Canines, like most nocturnal animals, have a highly developed sense of smell which helps them survive and find food. Like their more wild cousins, coyotes, foxes and wolves, our domestic canine pals also have extremely gifted noses. In fact, dogs can smell 10,000-100,000 times better than we can. That would be like smelling one rotten apple in 2 million barrels!
