This is a medium sized cache placed by the landowner, Upper Valley Land Trust. Winter friendly. There are a few tradeable items in the cache. If you take something, leave something. FTF wins a UVLT t-shirt, or ballcap, winner's choice.
This cache is the first official UVLT geocache! Following the trail 3/4 of a mile to the summit of Lyme Hill will get you close. See the trail map at the kiosk located at the parking area on Route 10 just south of the village of Lyme. Lyme Hill Conservation Area is owned and managed by the Upper Valley Land Trust for the benefit of all residents of the Upper Valley human and otherwise. The 237.4 acres has been acquired by the Upper Valley Land Trust in eight parcels over 20 years. UVLT hopes that someday our trail to an observation point at the wetland will be accessible to folks with walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers and that students with disabilities will be able to join their classmates in learning here.
