Tree Hugger Traditional Cache

This cache is a little bit off the trail.  I discovered this "Grand Daddy" one day while walking Murphy. Being a tree hugging nature lover I was in awe! I want to share my discovery with other tree hugging nature lovers.

Remember... always respect your elders. 

Bring your tweezers

This cache is one of four that we have hid on the Nanty-Glo Park n Pool trail system. This is a new trail. So there is bushwacking required in spots. The purpose of my hides are to help blaze in the new trail and bring people to this beautiful little park in Nanty-Glo, PA.

Grand daddy oak trees, tall beech trees, small meandering streams, hemlocks galore and giant mossy boulders. Who knew...?

Not all areas of the trail look like a trail. Just follow the yellow marks that were put on the trees if you lose site of the trail. There are trailheads at the front (behind the Hayes pavilion near the putt putt) and rear of the park (to the right of the reservoir). There are also small trails off the main trail that go to each pavilion.
