Geocache Description:

Ein weiteres Wahrzeichen von Arnoldstein ist der Schrotturm. Erbaut 1814 wurde durch "Herabgießen von flüssigen Blei von der Höhe",Schrotkugeln erzeugt. 1975 wurde die Erzeugung von der BBU eingestellt.

Der Schrotturm steht unter Denkmalschutz.
