Geocache Description:


This cache is one in a series of 10 caches placed along the trail between Yelapa and the Upper Falls. From Puerto Vallarta, take the orange bus to Boca (about 30 minutes from the Zona Romantica’s Basillo Badillo & Constitucion streets; 8 pesos), then take a panga (water taxi; 45 minutes; 90 pesos) to Yelapa.

The trail requires a moderate level of fitness due to heat, humidity and grade. It starts out flat but soon gets hilly; there are two river crossings requiring wading along the way. The trail is well marked and a guide is not necessary. The Falls and a nice swimming hole are at the end of the trail.

All cache containers are either 2-litre bottle pre-forms, small Tupperware containers, or micros in zip-lock bags, and all are on the ground hidden by rocks. Attributes, difficulty and terrain ratings are an average for the Series and trail.

Please use STEALTH when retrieving and replacing containers and re-hide as found.

Este caché es uno de una serie de 10 cachés colocados a lo largo del sendero entre Yelapa y las Cataratas del Alto. Desde Puerto Vallarta, tomar el autobús naranja a Boca (a unos 30 minutos de las calles Basillo Badillo & Constitución de la Zona Romántica, 8 pesos), luego tomar un panga (taxi acuático, 45 minutos; 90 pesos) a Yelapa.

El sendero requiere un nivel moderado de acondicionamiento físico debido al calor, la humedad y el grado. Comienza plano pero pronto consigue montañoso; Hay dos cruces de río que requieren vadear en el camino. El sendero está bien señalizado y no es necesario un guía. Las cataratas y un agujero de natación agradable están al final del sendero.

Todos los contenedores de caché son pre-formas de botellas de 2 litros, pequeños contenedores Tupperware, o micros en bolsas con cremallera, y todos están en el suelo oculto por las rocas. Las calificaciones de los atributos, dificultad y terreno son un promedio para la Serie y el sendero.

Utilice STEALTH al recuperar y reemplazar contenedores y volver a ocultar como se encontró.
