Geocache Description:

A cache has been placed nearby, but enemy agents are closing in. You'll need to you use all of your cunning and at least 39% of your moxy to locate the transmission / relay station that will broadcast the needed information to make the find.

The transmitting / relaying device can be found at the marked coordinates, it's approximate location is the Andorra Meadow area of the Wissahickon Valley Park. Your final target is within a half mile of our station. To successfully complete this mission you'll need to the following items in your kit:

  • 9-Volt Battery - Qty 2
  • FM Radio - Qty 1
  • Writing Implement - Qty 1
  • Top Secret Code Book
All four three of those items, in those exact (or greater) quantities are imperative for success in this mission. Inclusion of additional items from your kit, including your "1,001 Faces Disguise Kit" can be included at your discretion.

Best Practices:
  • Transmit range is limited to 18 to 24 inches from base station.
  • New batteries are highly suggested for best performance.
  • Older or partially charged batteries may cause a weak signal.
  • Toggle switches must remain lit for transmitter to function.
  • Keep the transmitter on a stable surface while operating for optimal results.
  • Radios with a digital tuner perform better than analog tuners.

Special Notes for Field Agents:
  • Beware horse mounted enemy agents,
  • Smaller, pre-teen agents, armed with dogs are rife in the area.
  • Tall grass obscures both the transmitter and enemy Tactical Insect Counter measures, aka TICks
  • Always observe cross walks when traversing the area of operations.
  • Many modern smart phones have FM radio capabilities, check your device for convenience sake.
