Park at Mountsberg Conservation Area. (Parking has been waypointed)
Do not try to park on Milboughough Line, there is no parking on this stretch and will likely be ticketed and towed.
Water and washrooms available near the parking area but none available once you get into the trails. This hike will take around 2 to 3 hours. There is lots to explore in this varied and beautiful area. The only downfall is the proximity to the highway 401 which can be annoyingly noisy. Area closes at dusk. The trails are fairly wide and flat for the most part. This side of the property does not get many visitors so the trails are not packed down and there is Poison Ivy growing into and over the trails in some locations.
In the winter, please do not hike in the ski tracks! Please walk beside the ski tracks and not in them. It makes it very hard for skiers if you ruin their tracks.
Note: Mapletown will run weekends March and April and daily during March Break, the park will be extremely busy with muggles at this time, but this area usually remains quiet.
Thanks to the HRCA for allowing for the placement of this cache.
