Fue alrededor del año 1881 cuando los primeros gigantes aparecieron. Estos eran pequeños, primitivos y eran pocos en número. Lo más probable es que la gente se sorprendía al principio porque nunca habían visto algo similar, pero con el paso del tiempo se fueron acostrumbrando gracias a que siempre se encontraban inmóviles y parecían inofensivos. Fue así que la gente dejó de prestarles atención a pesar de que los gigantes se empezaron a expandir cada vez más rápido por el mundo en diferentes tamaños y formas.
Durante todo este tiempo los gigantes han observado desde lejos como hemos evolucionado al igual que ellos. Comunmente, estos se encuentran en los campos y en las faldas de las ciudades, observando a lo lejos el pasar de la gente en sus coches por las carreteras. Incluso si uno se acerca a ellos y escucha atentamente los puede escuchar susurrar entre si.
Parecería ser que uno se encuentra seguro en las ciudades pero este gigante, el #45 junto con sus amigos, se ha adentrado lentamente por el sur de la ciudad. Al principio la gente no se acercaba mucho a este grupo y por ello construlleron un camellón para que los coches circularan por los lados, pero hasta hace unos años se invirtió dinero para arreglar el camellón y atraer así a la gente.
Esto funcionó ya que puedes ver más gente que se sienta en las bancas a descansar bajo la sombra de los árboles, gente que pasea a su perro o que hace ejercicio en los aparatos que se instalaron. Tal parece que la gente ha olvidado la historia de estos gigantes que nos observan todos los días, inmóviles y silenciosos...

It was around the year 1881 when the first giants appeared. These where small, primitive and few in numbers. At first it was likely that the people was surprised to see them because they've never seen anything similar, but with the pass of time they got used to them, especially because the giants are stationary and seem harmless. It was like this that people no loger payed attention to them even though the giants started to expand faster around the world with different sizes and shapes.
During all this time the giants have seen us evolve from far away. They have evolved as well. Normally they can be found in the fields and in the outskirts of the cities, watching from afar the people driving their cars through the highway. If you get close to them, you can hear some of them whispering between each other.
It seems that you are safe in the cities but this giant, the #45 along with his friends, has found a way to enter south of the city. At first people wouldn't come close to this group and therefore they built a ridge so that the cars could circulate around them, but a few years ago money was invested in the ridge to fix it and attract the people. This worked because you can now see people relaxing in the benches under the shades of the trees, people walking their dogs or making exercise in the exercise-machines that were installed. Now it seems that everyone has long forgotten the story of this giants that watch us everyday, stationary and quiet...
