Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 13th of the Exford Trios series, Three Little Bops. This cache is named after the 1957 Looney Tunes cartoon based on the fable The Three Little Pigs. Three Little Bops is unique among the Looney Tunes cartoons because all the voices were provided by comedian Stan Freberg rather than Mel Blanc.

The plot of the story is that the Three Little Bops are three unidentified pigs who are a popular multi-instrumental jazz trio (guitar, double bass, saxophone, piano and drums). A trumpet-blowing wolf (identified in other Looney Tunes cartoons as Big Bad Wolf) wants to join the hip combo, but he plays so badly he is thrown out of the nightclubs (Straw, Sticks and Bricks) where the pigs played. In a rage the wolf blows his trumpet and blows down the Straw and Sticks nightclubs. Big Bad Wolf is finally killed in an explosion during his attempt to re-enter the Bricks nightclub. He goes to hell, learns that 'you have to be hot to play real cool', and returns in spirit to play with the pigs' band. This prompts one of the pigs to alter their band's name to 'The Three Little Bops Plus One.'

This is a regular-sized cache, with plenty of space for a log, a pen, a pencil, and treasures. A FTF prize awaits someone.

There is enough space to park on the road shoulder, but as always, please be safe. In warmer weather and long grass there is the possibility of snakes in the area.

If you want to watch the Three Little Bops cartoon just Google Three Little Bops. If you want to hear more comedy from Stan Freberg it's on YouTube. I recommend you start with his Elderly Man River routine.
