Kanistro is the southernmost place of the peninsula Kassandra at Cape Conastreo. A few isolated houses and a small bay with fishing boats. Nearby is the five star Hotel Miraggio Thermal SPA Resort. The small church of Agios Nikolaos stands at the top of the hill, idyllic. From here you can see Sithonia at close range, and in good weather you can see the snow-capped Mount Athos. We have a cache here, because we liked this last piece of land very much. The can is large enough to accommodate small exchange items, as well as TB`s. We would be glad if you would upload one or the other photo.
Getting to the cache is easy. From Paliouri, a paved road leads directly to the small church of Agios Nikolaos. You can go directly to the cache up to a few meters. Please carefully reseal the can and camouflage it well again, so that it can last long. Have fun logging to Kassandra`s End.

Kanistro ist der südlichste Ort der Halbinsel Kassandra am Cape Conastreo. Ein paar vereinzelte Häuser und eine kleine Bucht mit Fischerbooten. In der Nähe befindet sich das fünf Sterne Hotel Miraggio Thermal SPA Resort. Ganz an der Spitze steht, idyllisch, die kleine Kirche Agios Nikolaos. Von hier aus kann man aus nächster Nähe nach Sithonia blicken, und bei gutem Wetter den schneebedeckten Berg Athos sehen. Wir haben hier einen Cache gelegt, weil uns dieses letzte Stück Land sehr gut gefallen hat. Die Dose ist groß genug, um kleine Tauschgegenstände, sowie TB`s aufzunehmen. Es würde uns freuen, wenn ihr das ein oder andere Foto hochladen würdet.
Den Cache zu erreichen ist ganz einfach. Von dem Ort Paliouri führt eine geteerte Straße bis direkt vor die kleine Kirche Agios Nikolaos. Man kann bis auf wenige Meter direkt zum Cache fahren. Bitte verschließt die Dose wieder sorgfältig und tarnt sie wieder gut, damit sie lange erhalten bleibt. Viel Spaß beim loggen an Kassandra`s End.
