This drive along Cow Creek showcases the natural beauty of the area, and is why I call this part of the world home. Even the mountains are human scale, and the greenery (in season) and its interplay with the rainy mists is truly magical. On parts of this drive, you can see the enduring damage from the great fires in 2014. There is history, there is mystery, and there is plenty to explore. Maybe you'll even hide a cache or two of your own along this route.
