Spring cleaning at Päiväranta, Nurmes Cache In Trash Out® Event

This weekend a few Swedish cachers will be visiting Finland for what we call Expedition Nurmes.

After arriving on the island yesterday, and hopefully after having an good nights sleep and breakfast, we will start to walk south towards Päiväranta area. Where I hope that the geocaching collective will assist in picking up all the trash that have accumulated during the winter.

Bring your own bags to collect the litter in.

The collected litter will be transported from Nurmes by us Swedish cachers.

When: Saturday 20 May
Where: Around Päiväranta cottage
Time: 1200-1300
Program: We will meet at the coordinates at 1200 o'clock for an short introduction. After that we all spread out to pick up litter in the nearby areas. At 1300 o'clock everyone has returned back so we can se how much rubbish has been gathered.
