Geocache Description:

When my friend asked me to teach the Cub Scouts how to geocache it was a dream come true. I discovered the caches that were once in the park are longer there except one. I decided to hide a few so that the boys were able to experience geocaching. My goal is to make them fun so that the boys and their families will continue to experience the joy of geocaching. This park is where G-Pop and Carter found their first cache. I have since gotten my friends and family in on the action.

Located in Cape May and Cumberland Counties Belleplain State Forest was established in 1928.  In 1933 three camps were set up by the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps).  Open daily sunrise to sunset.  Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm.  For more information visit their webpage at http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/belle.html

This cache is located along the Meisle Trail.  The Meisle Trail is .62 miles.  The Meisle Family used to own the cranberry bog that was converted into a 26 acre lake now known as Lake Nummy.
