Constructed in 1923, the current Willamette Grange Hall was the third building to house the Grange, established in 1873. This Georgian style structure is the most stylized grange hall in Benton County and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The Oregon State Grange organized in September 1873, and the Grange movement spread rapidly the following year. Following the height of the Grange boom in Oregon, membership declined, and the number of Granges and Grange members fluctuated. To date, Oregon chartered 946 Granges. The Willamette Grange is the oldest continually active Grange in Benton County and the 4th longest continuous membership in the state.
