Non daylight savings (winter): 6:00am - 7:00pm
There is 24hr pedestrian access.
The Kauri Point Track is a loop track 3.7 km and fitted with mountain bike/buggy ramps. This will take you about 1 – 1.5 hours to complete. I have placed 6 caches on this loop and are totally separate from the "A Byte and a Half at Atiu" series of caches.
This is a view NE up the Oruawharo River and from here you have to walk between two chestnut trees guarding the gate.
The cache is a 100ml plastic bottle.
