I recently adopted this furry baby, Zoë out of foster care. Since then we've gone on lots of hikes, some swims, and, of course, I've been working to turn her into a geodog. She's come along for a number of finds, but now its time for her to hide a cache. She seems to like hiking out at night the best- lots of new sounds and things running around in the woods for her to investigate. So it's time for you to get out in Zoë's favorite time of the day and hunt for a cache! Grab a headlight and make your way to this nice, overlooked preserve. The total hike is under a half mile and use the map below to help you stay on the trail. The cache is hidden within a few feet of the trail and is placed with the permisson of the Finger Lakes Land Trust and is a small, camo-ed lock and lock style container with room for small items.
Be sure to watch where you walk and stay on the trail until the end or else you will end up covered in mud like Zoë (not that she minds it at all)!
