Note: You do not have to go onto any balconies or onto anyone's personal property to retrieve the cache. The building owner is aware of the cache, though. It is very close to the building.
**The toque was found soon after publishing, so no worries about that anymore
This simple cache is placed in my neighbourhood of Old Strathcona. It is not meant to be difficult at all. Rather, it is meant to be found by one person in particular: the owner of the toque!
A few days ago my upstairs condo neighbour sent me a text that read "My toque is on your deck". After I looked outside and confirmed that yes, there was a toque on my balcony (how did that get there?) I decided to have a little fun with it. And so here is this cache. I have no idea whether she is a cacher, but she is smart so should figure it out once I send her the link and GC number.
You are looking for a small container with a toque in it. There is no room for anything else at this time, besides the logbook and a pencil. But after the owner of the hat finds it there will be ample space for whatever you wish to leave for trade.
