This is a companion cache, just east of the trailhead and parking, to Brown Creek Pond Nature Trail on the north side of the trail. It's a beautiful hike on this .8 mile loop so be sure to visit both.
From US 101 turn LEFT onto the Skokomish Valley Road (6 miles north of Shelton and 7 miles south of Hoodsport). Drive on the Skokomish Valley Road from the George Adams Fish Hatchery for about 5 miles to FS Road 23. Turn RIGHT onto FS Road 23 and drive a little over 9 miles to FS Road 2353. Veer RIGHT onto FS Road 2340 and drive approximately 1/2 mile to the trailhead parking.
You need your annual National Forest or lifetime American the Beautiful Pass to park at the trailhead.
